This is the home in Tjora my grandmother left in 1914 to come to America. The church below is Sola kirke and was rebuilt after it was destroyed by the Germans in WWII and then again after it burned. Grandma and her sisters were baptized and confirmed here.
The beach is the Solastraden near her home. Sola is also where the
Stavanger Lufthavn (airport) is located
