Although we did not get a chance to visit Ombo, we had our photo taken with the island behind us. We were standing on the ferry dock at Hjelmelandsvagen. Ombo is where my grandfather was born and emigrated from in 1909. He lived at the farm called Kyle - pronounced 'chee-la'.
